You Can't Spell "Lonesome" Without "Me"!

I go around optimistic
Waiting for my lucky chance
I try to make eye contact
So that I can get a second glance
I used to go to clubs
But apparently you've to to dance
I try to hang around
But I'm stuck in an awkward stance
I tried some special creams
But they could not enhance
Every girl I approach
Slides away from my advance
Why is it so hard
To find a bit of romance

Well
You can't spell lonesome without me
But I promise you this ain't a plea
It's a suicide note that I wrote in blood
But even then I'm ignored for a stud!

I wake up every morning
And I hope for a better day
I shake away the dreams
Where the girls didn't turn away
My special kind of charm
Only keeps them far at bay
My pastor now says
It's no use to try and pray
Even at weddings
I can't catch the boquet
When I come around
Dating signs go off display
When I enter bars
I hear a sigh of dismay
Maybe I'd have luck
If I spent some time as gay

Well
You can't spell lonesome without me
But I promise you this ain't a plea
It's a suicide note that I wrote in blood
But even then I'm ignored for a stud

You can't spell lonesome without me
So I guess it's time for a killing spree
You can't spell slaughter without laughter
And first to go are the girls I sought after
